Crosley oven repair

• Oven will not heat at all

  Bake element on electric, igniter on gas. Both are stocked parts and same-visit repairs.

• Food burns or comes out underdone

  The temperature sensor has drifted. We measure the actual cavity temperature against the setpoint before replacing anything.

• Door is locked after a cleaning cycle

  The door lock motor or its switch has failed while hot. Common on every brand that offers self-clean.

• Display shows an error code

  Codes map to a sensor, a relay or the board itself. Have the code ready when you book.

• Broiler works but bake does not

  That points squarely at the bake element or its relay, since the two circuits are separate.

• Oven turns itself off mid-cook

  Thermal cutoff, cooling fan failure, or a control board overheating behind the panel.

What goes wrong with Crosley ovens?

Washer drive couplers is the fault we attend most on this combination. Crosley appliances are built by Whirlpool and Electrolux under a separate badge, so the parts and diagnostics follow those platforms.

My oven bakes unevenly. Is that repairable?

Usually. It is either a drifting sensor, a failing convection fan, or a door that no longer seals because the hinges have sagged. All three are fixable.

Is the self-cleaning cycle bad for the oven?

It is hard on the electronics. If you use it, run it when you have time to deal with a failure afterwards, and never right before a holiday you are cooking for.

Do you work on double wall ovens?

Yes. They need pulling from the cabinet, which is a two-person lift on most models, so we schedule accordingly.
