MasterFix Appliance Repair LLC runs this website. This page explains what happens to the information you give us, in the same words we would use on the phone.

What we collect

When you book a repair we ask for your name, phone number, address or ZIP code, and a description of the fault. An email address is optional. We keep the page you booked from and the referring site, so we know which parts of the site are useful.

We store a one-way hash of your IP address rather than the address itself. It lets us block abusive submissions without holding anything that identifies your connection.

Why we keep it

To arrange and carry out the repair, to invoice for it, and to honour the 90-day warranty if you make a claim. That is the whole list.

Who else sees it

The technician assigned to your job. Our accountant, for invoicing. Nobody else. We do not sell customer data, we do not trade it, and we do not pass it to marketing companies.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers by default. If analytics is enabled it is limited to page views and traffic sources, and it is disclosed here when it is switched on.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and warranty obligations. Enquiries that never became a job are deleted after twelve months.

Getting it deleted

Email info@masterfixappliances.com or call (617) 685-8530 and ask. We will remove everything we are not legally required to keep, and tell you plainly what is left and why.
