The 90-day warranty, in plain terms
Last updated 7 September 2026
What is covered
Every repair we carry out is covered for 90 days from the date the work is completed. That covers both the parts we fitted and the labour to fit them. If the same fault returns inside that window, we come back and put it right at no charge to you.
What is not covered
- A different fault in the same appliance. A new failure is a new repair.
- Damage caused after our visit: an overloaded drum, a foreign object in a pump, a power surge, a flood, or an attempted repair by someone else.
- Parts you supplied yourself. We will fit a customer-supplied part on request, but we cannot warrant something we did not source.
- Appliances we advised against repairing where you chose to proceed anyway. We will put that advice in writing at the time so there is no confusion later.
- Wear items with a shorter natural life than the warranty period, where we tell you so before fitting them.
Making a claim
Call (617) 685-8530 and quote the reference on your invoice. We will book a return visit in the same way as any other job, and there is no charge for the visit or the work if the fault is the one we repaired.
The manufacturer warranty comes first
If your appliance is still inside its manufacturer warranty, contact the manufacturer rather than us. An independent repair can void that cover, and the manufacturer warranty is almost always longer and broader than ours. We will tell you this on the phone if the appliance sounds new enough for it to apply.
Your statutory rights
This warranty is offered in addition to your rights under Massachusetts and New Hampshire consumer law. Nothing here reduces those rights.
