- My wine cooler is a few degrees off. Does that need fixing?
- If it is stable and within about two degrees, it is a calibration question rather than a fault. If it is drifting steadily, something is failing.
- Thermoelectric or compressor, which is more reliable?
- Compressor units last longer and cope better with warm rooms. Thermoelectric units are quieter and have fewer parts to fail, but they struggle once the room passes about 77°F.
- Do you service built-in and undercounter wine cabinets?
- Yes, including Sub-Zero, U-Line, Marvel and Perlick units. Built-ins need pulling from the cabinet for most repairs.
- The unit is cooling but the light stays off.
- That is the LED strip or its driver, and it has nothing to do with the cooling system.
